what you shoudl do for till next march is download firefox and use aol to acess teh net and thats it, dont' use there brosers or anyhting, it will make a major difreance as wel as doing a complete virus scan to rid it of anything nasty that is there,
and possibly get aomethign like zone alams to help keep bad things at bay

zone labs is worth a shot as everythign that asks to access the net has to be aprroved by you, and that way if something crops up that you don't reconise then you google it and it will tell you what it is, if its a virus you can block it from accessing the net
witch dose help in the long run

I tried Musicmatch for a week and ended up loathing it. I only use it now to *ssshhhh* rip my CDs.

I use optical leads to burn to MD too. My DVD player has an optical line out and its so much easier to use that than fiddle with USB cables on my laptop.
My MP3 player is iAudio. The software that came with it sucks even worse than Musicmatch so I use that to rip my CD's and good old windows explorer to transfer them to my player.
