It may be a while before I'm back up and running normally. Sunday night there was a fire in a telecoms tunnel in Manchester, knocked out about 130000 phone lines. My broadband line being one of them. Estimates rang from couple of days to weeks to get everything back to normal. Had to long on using old dial-up connection. Don't think I can take it...

Don't you just hate this time of the year, never enjoy when the clocks go forward. I feel that hour is needed with sleep. Especially as I'm up early on a Sunday anyway

Hope everyone had a good weekend. Went to a house party last night at good mates house, it was his wifes birthday. Just a pity I had to leave it in full swing for Sunday morning football. Usually the last to leave.

Friday! A day of joy, elation and a big fat cheque from my last job.
Had a few good leads on the job front, see what happens with them next week, sounds promising though. One was even a few weeks in the US . Could the US handle a beer-swilling Englishman, that's the question

Mid-week. Nothing new to report on the job hunting front, still waiting to here about a couple of positions.
Having time off is having it's benefits though, giving me more time to explore on here. It's amazing how many treasures there are to be found.

Right that's the weekend over with for a week, now just got to concentrate on finding a job and not spend all my time here
