I went down to the unemployment office this morning. Got enrolled for unemployment and registered for Trade Adjustment Assistance under NAFTA. We applied when we got laid off because the majority of the work leaving the shop was going overseas.

thanks for making my birthday fun! Well, I made it back online finally. I bought a new computer at Sam's Club today. Nothing spectacular, I don't need blindingly fast, cutting edge technology. I got a decent computer for $550. I'm all about cheap and easy. Hell, it's many times faster than the ones I've been using so I'm not complaining!

Dude, if I were you i'd be dying....ok...actually I'd be going down to the Gateway store (Err...website, sice they closed the stores) and picking out a brand new shiney internet machine. 
I have to get up and go to work for only two more days! It will be REALLY nice to take the summer off. Fun, fun, fun!
