Gah - sorry I didn't get in touch yesterday honey... My wonderfully geeky plan of getting folk to email me, and picking up those emails on my phone, was too good to be true.
Instead, my email's spam filter decided that anything from SG was obviously worthless, so none of the mails made it through. Coupled with that, I bumped into an ex-girlfriend in Edinburgh, and was dragged (dragged, I tell you) into the Blue Blazer for beers.
Not only did I fail to contact you, I failed to contact TheNonStopDancer and Nic until I was already on the train back to Glasgow, where I fell into a sleazy rock club, only to find it was actually a sauna in disguise. Total sweatbox... ugh.
Anyway... How about I drop you a text next time I'm in the capital, and we try again?

Just got back from Prague - great city, lovely weather, enormous suntan and pickled liver. Only downside was being accompanied by parents, which kind of cramped my style a bit, and getting my bag nicked in a restaurant and needing to cancel my cards etc. But did manage to crash some cigs off a very handsome Czech copper while getting my report for the insurance....

by all means, learn how to ask where the bathroom is. i went to Spain not knowing hardly any spanish. while i did know how to ask for the men's room, it took me half an hour to get a roll of toilet paper at my hostel. the night clerk kept offering me his copy of El Pais.

I love red wine, but by god it doesn't like me. Went out and demolished a bottle with Current Squeeze on Friday night and I've still got the headache, despite pints of orange juice, buckets of water and copious quantities of Nurofen. Ouch.
