I wonder if in a few hundred years people will be able to recover CDs. They say the shelf life isn't that long...

Even on my current hard drive I probably have the odd folder that havsn't been accessed since I was a teenager.

The other day I was cleaning out some binders at work, in which we used to store installation media for our old software (required to do so by regulations.) I opened one, and a creaky old 3.5" floppy fell out. It was like finding a dinosaur bone.
