I had to buy so many decks to finally find a set that I really felt comfortable with. I use the Hanson Roberts deck the illustrations are really kinda fairy tale like even death is cute!
I've found that the softer imagery stops all the subjects preconceptions and helps to "open them up".
Haven't used runes in ages, I mainly use my Sacred Path & Medicne Cards (Animal Totems).
