I saw a pretty amazing band last night: Video Hippos. they're from Baltimore. you can click through different sections of their site to hear mp3s and .wav files of some of their songs and watch a video... and there's some other songs on their myspace page as well.

their show is more of an event, with on-going video projections to a backdrop behind them...

oh. my. fuck. skullfucked. brains splattered everywhere.

BTA played their first-ever Canadian show here on Thursday and then in a very small University town 20 min. from here tonight. a completely different experience both times. tonight it was mostly people from here who drove the 20 min to see them. there were other bands as well as locals in the bar, but they cleared out...

Yeah I was just kidding about the pool biggrin, I know I sure as hell wouldn't want rogue wildlife crapping in my swimming pool if I had one. Actually I did use public pools when I was a kid, but instead of money we'd us bolt cutters and make secret entrances, so that was just night swimming I guess.

Negative Approach is still my favorite hardcore band too, modern hardcore confuses me with the whole "emo" connection, how the hell did that happen?

Geez and why am I always the last person to about stuff like homemade absinthe?

Thanks for your comment on Morning Bliss. kiss

the new kittehs are settling in well, for the most part. they freaked out a bit at first when they got here - they were with the same person for most of their lives so far ("boo-boo" is 5.y.o. and "sweetie" is 8.y.o.) and they were used to an apartment (we're in a house), so it was a bit of an adjustment for them. but...

<3 I miss you. I'm stealing your kitties I need some good cuddles.

Yeah moving that stuff with a car in tow flooring it prbably isn't such a good idea.

You're lucky to have such an affectionate cat, I personally love cats but my ex-girlfriend hated them. A feral cat(which is just an undomesticated cat) got inside the house once and she freaked, even I ran away from it because it was so vicious. It's amazing how cats became self domesticated.
