Today's $16/hr work: printing out a single email. Rest of the time I do nothing. Slept a little a few days ago.

I've gotten pretty brazen about enjoying the WWW, though this is the first time I've gone to a porn site. (Images off.)

World-famous cookbook writer VSLF's mom visited for a few days. That was some good eatings.

I've been buying lots of CDs...

Should we be prepared for another NYC baby boom in 9 months? Glad you made it through, dude. biggrin

You know how it is. Sometimes you feel like posting, sometimes you don't.

Today's activity: junk food & videogames. I had Doritos for breakfast. The type with Olestra!

i don't feel like posting to your journal.

VSLF insists that it wasn't Gary Busey we saw at brunch. Whoever the hell it was, he certainly wanted people to think he ws famous, with his baseball cap and his sunglasses and his jewelery. I might have to try that; I wonder if I could pull it off.

I would like to have a taste test party. Coke vs. Pepsi, various vodkas, even butter...

I think you should do the Coke vs. Pepsi thing with Indian product. Whosever babies are born with most birth defects wins.

Citysearch recommended a place for brunch so we checked it out. It was a bit of a slog getting to the lower-east side, but I'll be damned if we didn't have The Ultimate Brunch:
* Hip surroundings and clientele
* ...including I believe, Gary Busey
* Unpretentious attitude
* And a $12 brunch special which included:
* Very tasty food and
* Unlimited mimosas

I'd...

I'm a smooth texture girl. Maybe cause the braces, but i hate chocolate chunks. they are always waxy and take forever to melt. I hate it when stuff gets in my teeth. Aggh

I was telling VSLF the other day how there's nothing I love more than waking in the middle of the night and slurping noisily from the glass of water by the side of the bed thereby waking VSLF up at which point she reaches out and one-hand-claps as a request for said glass.

VSLF has no recollection of this, though it happens at least once...

Awwww, how cute smile.

Didjya read it yet? Huh? Didjya?

I really want to talk with someone about it. The Darwin book, I mean. Cuz I just realized the last time I journaled was a month ago, and you might have no frickin' clue what I'm talking about.

Last night VSLF and I went to the Porno Liberation Front, which fronted a disappointingly small amount of porno. None, actually; just PSAs from the 1950s. But the idea is so good, I'll go back. And the go-go dancers were great.

We met up with Alex Karina whilst there and after the show we all went to see a band at the Lakeside Lounge...

Yes, I actually did know all that about llamas. My friend raises them in Michigan. I've kissed llamas before. It's less of a kiss and more of a They Like to Put Their Face in Yours thing. Like inches away. It's really cute.

I'm getting drunk so quickly and easily on these cheap Red Bull & Vodka knockoffs. They taste like Mountain Dew crossed with Bubble Gum. I like it, but I can see how some might not.

So keep in mind this is a drunken journal posting.

I can't believe that I'm still working at this one place. They have just about no work for me to...

Hey I added a testimonial for your friendster page. Let's hang out at my place and at neighboring coffee shop soon and shoot some test scenes and brainstorm about this film we're going to make.

You know what's great? Really really wonderful? Laundry service. I tried it the first time last week. Instead of lugging our laundry to the stinky basement and sorting and detergenting and lugging to the dryer and cleaning the lint trap and lugging back up to the apartment and (the worst part) folding hot clothes on a hot day and paying $6 for the privilege, I...

I've been spending an awful lot of time with AlexKarina lately. We had dinner on Tuesday, he flaunted his underworld connections for me on Wednesday, and VSLF and I saw Cat Power on Thursday.

Yeah, so Cat Power gave a free show at Castle Clinton in Battery Park. You ever play Deus Ex? One of the missions is at Castle Clinton; so it's a...
