My Bluetooth barcode scanner arrived today. Now I can scan all my books and such into Delicious Monster Library! That is, if I could get the damned thing to work.

I have it all connected, but the software won't display the Bluetooth button that tells it to import the barcode information using the scanner.

Yep, Thanksgiving on Thursday. I'd give anything for some of my grandmother's dinner rolls and pumpkin pie. Never again, though.

I just talked to MathGirl. On the telephone! And she didn't seem the least bit angry with me, or afraid of my insanity, or anything.

Is it pathetic that this makes me extraordinarily happy?

All in all, we had a delightful conversation. And though I didn't ask outright, of course, it doesn't seem that she's living with my rival. Yay!

I wish I could hate her. Things would be so easy, then. I could forget her, and get on with life. Hate is simple.

But what I feel for her, whatever it is, is complicated and difficult. Though I hurt beyond my endurance to deal with it rationally, I am terrified by the mere thought of living without her.
