Earth's winter is almost over,
But not my winter.

So I was on the phone last night, and my partner in conversation suddenly disappeared. I figured it was a cell phone thing. I called back; no answer. There wasn't a fight in progress, so I don't suspect she just hung up in anger. Yet time went by, and there was no call-back. There's still no call back. No explanation, nothing.

Wow. It really sounds as though she needs to get something out of her system before she can move on to another serious relationship, although if she feels the same way about you as you obviously do about her, then her previous relationship shouldn't be too much of an issue.

I'm glad you spent an evening in a fresh situation and having a good time in good company smile I know it's easy for me to say, but maybe you need to step back from the situation with MathGirl and focus on other important things in your life. Put her on the back burner for a while.
