What happens to pants sucks. It defines suckatude. It's awful. There are some things that just can't be replaced by cash from insurance, and that doesn't cover all the costs of everything he lost.
Something for everyone to remember and keep in mind ... his renter's policy covers the stuff taken from his car as well as his home. Car insurance (comprehensive) covers only things that are physically part of the car ... your stereo, your windows, etc. The contents of the car are covered by renters.

Actually, HE wasn't drunk, but his roomie and I were...well...we were shitfaced. And you know how when you're drunk you get...*ahem*....."emphatic".
So we're talking about Columbo (the detective) and I can't really remember who was being more of an ass (me or grim's roomie) but grim go so sick of us yelling at each other like an old married couple that he threw a purple monkey in his roomie's face yelling "LOOK AT THE PURPLE MONKEY!"
It's all very embarrassing.
