This is not a worst date post....this is in response to a post on my jounral. This girl was nice..decent.

re: sleeping with someone unattractive.

I did it already. I wanted to push the boundaries of what I would be conditioned to do. See if I felt disgusted with myself afterwards, or thought less of myself, or if I was strong enough to transcend that emotion. And to see if I could fend off all of the miscommunication caused by future expectation of the other person (I think I was successful at communicating that it was just for fun). And to see if I could be genuine and sincere about the encounter and enjoy myself.

Here's what I found.

Well...it was hard to inspire confidence in her to express her desires. That anyone can be a little bit of a player because she did say a few things before and after to sell herself. And what was amazing in her was the ability to set aside any sense of low self image and go forward with everything, fully nude. I did find that I got bored/ impatient trying to bring her to cum though. My back hurted so we didn't have sex. And she didn't express any interest in giving me any pleasure so it just kinda ended.

After...I think I got villified a little by our other neighbors. But She doesn't completely avoid conversation with me. I think I'll be able to make my good. Just a little community confusion right now.

I've never really had a flat-out bad date that I can recall. But last summer I did meet a girl through the Onion Personals, and we met for drinks. I didn't feel an automatic love connection, but I thought we got along okay. She eventually had to go, and I e-mailed her the next day to thank her for her company, just trying to be polite, and she didn't even reply back. Felt really good about myself after that one.

Oh, and Shi? It's been lovely to make your acquaintance as well. I like your moxie.

I have been feeling like i'm stuck in a rut.
I mean skydiving, snowboarding, chess tournaments, and the ping pong championships are all fun, but you're right I do need a little more variety.
