Sorry I haven't been around. I've been restless and have a lot on my mind. Also I have been fighting with my mom for the last week or so. I haven't said two words to anyone I've seen in the last week. That is two words to anyone but my mom. I miss talking with you and am gonna be trying to be around more.

Guess I'm being pretty damn whiny. What I was leaning toward though, is that you should stay aware of your limitations, but never let it limit your progress. I tend to do nothing for long periods of time, and then try to make up for it all at once and screw myself.

As to your situation: Your reaction is perfectly understandable - having somebody who you think is one of your best buds suddenly turn on you is a rather unnerving experience. But, at least you now know what a buttwipe that guys is and can categorize him as such... <pats you on the shoulder, comfortingly>

Some people just don't get the "seasoned veteran" drinkers. They watch us pack down drinks and immediately think we have a problem. The only problem most of us have is people bitching about our drinking habits. I drink, some would even say excessively. I'm not an alcoholic however. I go for days (upwards of a week sometimes) without drinks and feel just fine about it. That dosen't mean I'm not a drinker, cause I go on spurts of the opposite, where I'll have a couple (or more) every day for a good run of days. As long as you know your limits and are responsible, there's really nothing to worry about.

Now I think I'm going to have to get a couple drinks for lunch!

You know, people tell me all the time that they can't understand how I can deal with living in "Little Mexico" and to be honest, it's actually calmer here than people think. Sure, it's not exactly Beverly Hills, but even as one of the only honkies in a mile radius, I never get hassled. The worst thing that has happened to me while living here is that if a girl comes or goes from my apartment without me on their arm, they'll catch the occasional wolf whistle.

I really don't have much of a tolerence for crazy. I'd have called the cops too, and I've never called the cops for anything before, (I guess I figure I don't bother them, they don't bother me.) but the cracked out shit you witnessed is definately cop worthy.

telling her i'm broke wouldnt do any good. she knows me too well. what pisses me off most is that she left me for a dead beat, had his baby and... of course - he left. so what does she do? call me, im me, email me. i tell her off and she waits a while and does it all over again. about the only thing that MIGHT work is if i tell her i have a gf, but then again, she knows how i am...
