i spent a great weekend up at our lake house in upstate new york. its wonderful to wake up and see the water outside first thing in the morning- and to hear it crashing against the shore. the weather was beautiful- sunny with a slight breeze. makes me sad to come back home and return to the real world...

my program changed and now it looks like i wont graduate next spring like i thought i would. i will have to either finish up in the summer or the next fall. which means i'm staying here in virginia that extra year that i didnt want to stay. i'm feeling pretty bummed about it right now....

I know the feeling of knowing you'll have to wait even longer to graduate. It happened to me more than once and it felt like it would drive me crazy. Somehow I made it though and it made finally graduating feel even cooler.

Oh how I'd love to come down to the States for visiting. I have a number of friends on my MUST SEE list and you be one of them! Just too much saving needs to happen right now...or I need to land a job that pays a hell of a lot more...sigh.
