when i was younger, i used to eat in my room on my bed all the time. and, of course, being a stupid teenager, i wouldn't clean it up right afterwards.
one night, i was eating and all of a sudden i saw an ant crawl across my bed. so i jumped up out of the bed holding my plate of food. then i looked some more. there were about a dozen ants crawling all over my bed. my mom and i had to wash my sheets, buy bug spray and lay out ant traps at the four corners of my bed. oh, and i didn't sleep in my bed for a night or two.
needless to say, i am very careful when i eat in my room now.

When driving to the Grand Canyon the other day, at about 8000 feet in elevation there were groves of Aspen trees. My favorite. I had never seen that in person, only in photos and on tv. For a long time I thought I may never see them in person, so white, the rebel of the forest...they just make me giddy. I ended up crying in the car. It just made me so happy.
