i went to a sign language meetup in maryland tonight. its been quite a while since i've had people to sign with so that was really nice. when it comes down to it, i mostly fucking hate to talk. its just not the same. its beautiful to be able to express yourself non-verbally. anyone local know any sign? i've always secretly wanted a deaf lover.

I was diagnosed bipolar 6 years ago...and I took meds for the longest time. I gave them up when I was pregnant with my son, and I hated the way that they made me feel....but some people need them (and they actually work for them). If you feel that they help you, take them with no guilt. You will always have those moments of doubt and uncertainty though...it comes with the territory.
