Threw a holiday party tonight. Pinot Noir, three bottles of Champagne, an assortment of cheap and shitty yet acceptable beers, hot buttered rum, and cigars/joints for anyone that cared to partake in it. There was music, there was the planet earth series playing in the background, a rotating cast of familiar faces. It was a really great night.

And now that everyone's gone...

"He's a man with a fork in a world of soup."

Compassion..

The mixture of simplistic beauty and cacophonous noise is so fantastic to me right now.

Half blinking soaked vision. Blurs of green and white. Faint lights.
Noise trickling. An overlay of crescendos and stillness.

I'll take those scars you resent and wear them myself. Anything to help.

I've always wanted to feed the giraffes...
I had a chance once but I needed to catch a bus to get on a boat... to get on a plane...
Kidding about the plane... but plane seems like it might be next in that sentence.
anyway. I ended up being late for my bus and having to make a very expensive cab ride back
to my boat ... whatever
and I haven't gotten another chance to feed the giraffes since.
if you end up in San Francisco around then you should try to sneak your way into Treasure Island.
it'll be a fun adventure.

So where can I hear this music that you play? I think we are both in the same hemisphere and live music is on the top of my "things I cannot live without" list... if I had one wink

Ugh...

SPOILERS! (Click to view)

So today is the first time since last August that I've seen Linda, a girl I'm pathetically in love with. She just broke up with her boyfriend (a major douche hat), and so she and I got coffee and walked around, enjoying the sunshine. While it was very nice, I also suffer from crippling shyness when around someone...

I don't want to speak in metaphors. I don't want to be vague, I don't want to rely on implications. Not right now.

Mistakes have been made, but I know, I KNOW I do not deserve to have them held against me. I know I deserve more than manipulative cries for attention from someone who once claimed to love me. I know...
