In the last few years I have come to appreciate British TV. Here are some of my favorite shows:

Peep Show
Coupling
Spaced
Dr. Who
Hyperspace
Black Books
Mitchell and Webb Look
The IT Crowd

Can you recommend any other British shows for me to watch? I think Akemi turned me into an anglophile.

Don't know if you like action shows but MI-5 is excellent. It is similar to "24" but is grounded more in reality.

Worrying is the most natural and spontaneous of all human functions. It is time to acknowledge this, perhaps even to learn to do it better.

Mark Helprin said the most serious damage one can do to oneself in a military campaign is to fail to have a clear, disciplined, and consistent set of objectives. In reaching these, improvisation is the highest virtue. In defining them, it is the greatest sin.

This seems true of more then just war.

I'm not talking about dance lessons. I'm talking about putting a brick through the other guy's windshield. I'm talking about taking it out and chopping it up. I'm having a ball. Scrapping and yelling and mixing it up. Loving every minute with this damn crew.

"To start from my personal view, for moral reasons I am an atheist--for moral reasons. I am of the opinion that you would recognize a creator by his creation, and the world appears to me to be put together in such a painful way that I prefer to believe that it was not created by anyone than to think that somebody created this intentionally. thanks! i actually think i could improve which is probably what you thought when you decided not to take it, since i havent done modelling before though, i was pleased with the results, its a case of practice makes perfect no?

but thankyou, and that's an interesting piece of writing there...i always wonder why there is this programmed desire to believe, in something at least...if not god then fate or chance or something along those lines

The United Nations is saying Los Angeles is violating internation drug laws. So glad to know the UN and the Bush administration have finally found a common enemy.

I watched the villa DVD for the first time yesterday (I know, I left it a long time). It made me miss you even though you're not in it. xx.
