my suggestion would be to spend a little money on a better camera if you really want to improve. you seem to have had good access and can get close enough. you can get a decent enough 4 megapixel point and shoot these days. do a little research.
Also when you are posting photos make them a bit smaller (for example: 7 inches wide at 72dpi) it makes your enrty cut off some of the words if the photos too big.
