I do happen to make bi-monthly treks out to Charlotte as the irony sits in the fact that one of my best friends from the high school era now resides in NC as well...in the greater Charlotte suburbs. Its saddening that the cityscape has become deteriorated by nightlife venture capitalist endeavors...and they call this improvement?
Being that I am a carpetbagger, New York was a nice breath of refreshment & a chance to realign myself. If you haven't been in a while, then may i suggest that you & your significant other make a trip of it sometime soon...
