I may have to go back to my old job. It was $11/hour, which would be a living wage if I could get full time hours. But then I'd be working in a bookstore while being too poor to buy books. A little slice of hell...

I was on ICQ with my chickie, so she couldn't see anything but your profile pic: that's what she thought looked somewhat gothy--I think it was the green lighting and black hair--though you've got to understand she's not all hip to what the kids are doing and wearing. Only a few months ago I had to try to explain to her what "punk" meant. I told her to look at your railroad pics, but I don't think she did. :/ She's been much more interested in Kikka since I revealed my membership here: it's a Polish thing.

I'm having rather the glamour moment with my own nose right now, by the way. I took a softball square in the face, which, if you have my face, means you took it on the nose.

The only pics she's really got to her credit so far (that I know about) are from our trip to Europe two years ago (it kills me to think it's been that long), and those are all on film (though they're quite good as far as snapshots of painfully overphotographed subjects go). Her digital camera's brand new, and she's just getting the hang of photography with a *real* ($$$!) camera. When she starts taking some stuff and showing it to me, I'll ask if I can pass it along.

yuppers. i wish i had a camera when i went to the circus, vineyard, and mozzerlla factory. i would have gotten some great images. to go along with my vomiting

I was thinking neon green gorilla suit, but throw in an eyepatch, skull and crossbones hat and parrot and I can work out the pirate angle, too.

And I still think the whole fun swap thing is the photo equivalent of you giving me Manhattan (NY and Kansas) and me giving you some really cruddy plastic mardi gras beads that I fished from the gutter.

Not to talk you out of, you know, sending me...uh...stuff, and er...things.
