your artwork is inspiring.
its gonna take me a few days to decide which peice i absolutely cannot live without...
i like the one with you dressed as a bride with the candy in your had.
Thanks babycakes. Everyone on this damn site would have my number IF I had a phone. Teehee. I had a dream last night and you were sitting in a booth at the airport, waving goodbye to me as I left. (Hopefully for bigger and better things than this NH life I'm livin'.)
sooooo. today i'm going on a modern-day pilgrimage to my ENT. i will be bearing such holy relics as Saint Anthony's left nibs, Saint Brigitte's awl-counter, and a very nice case of TINY EUSTACHIAN TUBE SYNDROME.
This is why it's been shit to fly in airplanes all my life. Some of us gals are just--crass jokes, please!--born with tiny passageways.
While we're all stalking each other--your comment in mk's journal got me thinking. I really hope what you and mk are agreeing on isn't true. I don't want to think I can't be meaningfully close to someone just because we haven't screwed. Even in relationships where sexual tension was an establishing factor, I find there comes a point where it just becomes uninteresting backgrounds noise. There's a point I've arrived at in several relationships where the other party and I tacitly agree that it's just not going to happen--then, for the most part, that part of the relationship goes away and other things slide into its place.
Of course you understand better than most what I have invested in my position on this matter--if you and mk are right, then I'm more lonely in this big ol' world than I thought. That's sad. Sad like a robot.
I thought I should reply to Dogslife's comment in your journal, just to keep the flow.
I could go on for hours (and even more mintues) about this as I wrote a thesis proposal on the very matter. It's not that I don't believe ultra-close, inter-gender relationships can't exist pre-hump; I just know from "research" that it would take a very special situation.
In most cases there will always be some desire, even if never acted upon, on one or both party's side. It may never surface in a bad way, but a subdued desire for increased intimacy of one kind tends to hinder intimacy of another.
On the surface, there are subjects that cannot be covered without making someone uncomfortable, or cuddles that cannot be cuddled without putting someone in a difficult spot.
Don't get me wrong, Doggy, you absolutely can have fulfilling relationships with women who haven't had your Dogslifestyle... there just might exist another %1 of closeness you're missing out on with that person, and that's why there's ginny for your %100, no-robot, all kinds of intimacy up in this shit, good-time fun-ship.
At this point I think if I would have dug up that thesis it would have been shorter... and contained even more references to "hump."
Adam did mention your illness, but then he mentioned zombie babies and I kind of forgot about your neck. Glad it's not meningitis! (It's not, right?) Good thing you're tall: running up and down your brachiosaurus is sure to tucker it out in no time.
No, not "pome", but those 3-storey buildings--nobody knows this, but they're actually BIL-DINGS. Not a word of a lie.
