You know what it is:
real comments require real thought,which in turn requires real effort.
However quickie comments or fun comments require almost zero thought and zero effort which is precisely why they proliferate.

The benefit to fun/non personal entries and comments is that they act as social lubricant. No one has the energy to be serious or personal all the time! But you gotta make the personal entries too otherwise what's the point of all this interaction? (dulled through the medium of the internet, but still interaction)

Anyhow i've always had real comments for you since way back in the day of SG Newbies yo!!

I once tried to get a license, it ended in a oneway road.

My mother raised me alone and she never had a car so I never really missed it. But you're right, when my iPod dies, really bad things could happen in the train.
