Well I'll be damned... after a morning of pineing over the non-existence of the Canadian iTunes Music Store not being delivered in November (they assured us), and after reading the press release about the delay and forgetting about it, it suddenly goes up. Awesome!
Can't wait till they get some more stuff in the Canadian library though - I was hoping to get the new...

SGRegina pics, I say!

Aw, don't worry about the pics, dude.
Ever have one of those moments? You know, the ones where you think you're alone, but you're not, and you do something incredibly lame?
Yeah, I was just in the kitchen making lunch, thinking that it's just me in the house. Now, I'm not entirely sure, but I think I was singing some really bad eighties tunes. Now I say think, because I'm not sure...

ARgh... technology has bested me today not once, but twice -
the first time was this morning when I was setting up some mics for some test recordings - everything was fine from the time I plugged everything in to the time I powered up the preamp - then I plug in my headphones and hit 'play' in the sequencer - my fuck did I...

I'm techincally challenged
Alright, I'm convinced. I don't think I'm human - I haven't been sick in years (hangovers & minor colds don't count).
Anyways, nothing really new here. Only thing 'news-worthy' is the new software sequencer I got today - a fully-licenced NFR copy of Tracktion, some deal thing with Mackie and Guitar Player magazine. It's actually pretty cool, because apparenlty it's worth $150, and for the...

I'm pretty damn lucky as well when it comes to getting sick, it's been a long while since I've been sick enough to complain about it.
Personally, I get all my mp3s from torrent sites such as SuprNova and Kerrazy-Torrents (tons of metal). Of course it's important to support the artist and I still buy CDs regularly, but by illegally downloading I've had the chance to hear and subsequently purchase music from bands that I wouldn't have head of otherwise. In short, stealing music can benefit some of the lesser-known bands.
Although I have heard good things about the iTMS. (but torrents still rule!)

I haven't been sick in a long time either. I'd like to get so sick that I could miss a week of work. That'd be great. But with all the medication crap that's available now, you have to be pretty much dead in order to justify staying home sick.
Update:
Haha, my dad rules. I just went downstairs and there he was, half cut, listening to Alice Cooper (cranked up of course) and playing GTA:Vice City - and yelling at the PS2.
Holy fawk - this week went by frickin' fast.
And damn, do I ever need a new source of income, and pronto, because I got nothing to do until spring-ish.

Sweet... I wanna adopt your dad!!!

Bad things have led me to leave
Though, I think my retinas are burned from the ever-present camera flash - especially Ceilidh's seizure-inducing camera.
Thanks again for the good times, and thanks again to Oracle for the ride home!

D...Do ya hear that? The music. A band. Do you hear it? Did somebody hear?!
Waking up completely confused sucks. Especially when your arms are completely numb from lying on them. Must've taken me 5 minutes to get the damn door opened.
Heh.
PS - Wednesday? Come on, bring on the weekend already!

Hey, this may sound odd, but did you ever buy books from The Oak and Rose Book Shoppe when you lived in Moose Jaw?
maclay:
OK, that might be where I know you from, I worked there for 2 years.

I gotta go get me a part time jorb to help pay off my damn Visa . Guess I'll run out tomorrow and see what I can fine. Most likely all crap ones though... (grumble).
Grumble over.
In other news, I actually got to working on a couple tracks, one's almost finished in the sense of feel, I just have to do arrangements...

Gahhh! My mug - taken by surprise before heading out for the show last night.
As I said earlier, the show kicked ass. I don't think words can sum up how enthused that one of my favorite bands were actually playing here.
Here - have a photo - all my other pictures from last night turned out like poo. I hate my camera. When I...

Just got back from the Minstry show! Fucking AWESOME! I'm freakin' deaf as hell though, but it was so worth it to be standing directly in front of Al the whole time. HuG did awesome, and TKK got me going big time!
But I'm going to put my beaten body to bed now. G'nite peoples of SG!

Nope - that wasn't me. I only drove 45 minutes (The Jaw!!) For the most part I was up on the mezzanine, but I think I did see you rockin' out down there.
I'm going to run out to develop my film in a couple hours, so I'll throw some pictures up when they're done.

Sounds great. My pics I took were mediocre I suppose... I'll post some in my "live shows" folder. I think that's what it's called.
