Happy Saturday!

I really need to work on my blogging abilities..

So lately, I've had quite a few things on my mind. In a few weeks, if all goes well, my wonderful guy and I should be moving into our own restaurant/pub. Exciting. It's been his dream rather than mine, and I'm just immensely happy that I can help make it come true. It will...

Congrats, wow there's so much to respond too. I wish you the best of luck on the restaurant. I'm not very holistically minded...I love the planet, don't get me wrong but I've absolutely no recipes to help out.

Take care...

This is aimed at UK drivers really, but it's extremely important. I felt I should pass this around anywhere I could so other people could read & stay safe and pass it along.

The short of it, is that their are some sick gangs out their coming up with sick ways off luring women out of their cars with the intention of rape, and men...

We had a group of three robbers working in my home town last week. They would follow women leaving the bank back to their home and rob them when they got out of their car. They robbed four women successfully, but the fifth woman they attempted to rob pulled her pistol our of her purse shot the bastard!! Then she held all three at gun point until the Police arrived. TOO FUNNY!! Here in Texas we are blessed to have a Republican Governor and Republican Legislature that take our Second Amendment right to keep and bear arms seriously!! I've been licensed Concealed Carry since 1996. Thankfully, I've only had to draw my weapon once, and I wasn't forced to use it. Just the sight of my handgun was enough to discourage my would be attacker. To be honest, I can't imagine how it would be to live in a country like England where it is virtually impossible for private citizens to carry a handgun on their person. Here in the states we see it all the time. Cities like New York, Chicago, and Los Angeles, which have the most restrictive handgun laws, also have the highest violent crime rates. In fact, I recently read that in the last four years more that twice as many people have been murdered in Chicago than we've lost in Afghanistan. Imagine that statistic, the average Chicago resident has a 50 percent high chance of being murdered than our soldiers fighting terrorist in a hostile Islamic country!!

Jeez guys! I'm so sorry, I'm useless at blogging.

It's 4am, the wind is howling outside and because of that, I can't sleep. I've been desperately trying to research the village I'm moving to in the new year. Alas, the internet proves full of crap, useless information.

It's not just any old move either. My partner is opening his own restaurant. It's exciting, and becoming...

Hi all,

I couldn't not post this. Never has anything like this affected me so much.

A 3 yr old girl attacked by a dog was left severely injured and scarred, her parents are in no position to pay for the medical bills for the treatment she needs so a fundraiser has been set up.
You can find that here, and the news story...

I'm snuggled up in bed, in my undies and a fur head band (attractive), trying to be inspired to update my CV. The plan being to send it off to Agent Provocateur for a christmas temp position at the Bullring in Birmingham. It's my dream job, it's only temporary but it would be so worth the experience!
I keep doubting myself though. I hate that...

There's nothing in the Staffordshire area, which is where I'll be moving too. I don't know the area that well anyway. So frustrating.

Hello lovers.

House viewing didn't quite go to plan. I was really gutted about it because I fell in love with the house we were going to see, but I got a call yesterday morning from the estate agents, telling me that an application had been made at the weekend. It's frustrating because of the nature of our jobs it's not easy to get time...

180 for a book? Holy moly! That's steep, but I guess if it's what you love then it's worth it. The most expensive book I ever bought was a massive book on music history for 60, and I thought that was a shocking amount of money at the time. I guess I knew nothing! biggrin
