I was on my way to work this morning, stopped at a light where a young hispanic man was sitting in the intersection waiting to turn left. Apparently he reconsidered, because all of a sudden he throws his car into reverse, floors it, jams on the breaks and proceeds to instead now make a right turn from the left lane and swing into a convenience...

Behavioral science was invented by people like Kinsey. It didn't exist for him to get a degree in. Louis Leakey did research for 20 years before getting a terminal degree. Mary Leakey never got one and Jane Goodall's is honorary. Stephen Jay Gould's degree was in paleontology but his chair was in zoology and his primary area of interest was biology. You simply can't judge academic career tracks of sixty or even 30 years ago by modern standards, and you can't bitch that Kinsys didn't have the "right" degree and championing a critic doing neurobiological "research" with her TV degree.

You fucking rule, that is all. smile

Apparently, "ebullient" and "ululation" are the pan-media fifty cent buzzwords of the moment. Look for them wherever smug self-congratulatory writing is found.

Tomorrow, back to the pictures.

I think I am going to pound nails with my skull.

If that doesn't make me feel better I may substitute "with" with "in".

You would think, as it does actually rain here from time to time, that LA's power grid would be waterproof.

You would be wrong.

I've noticed that slowly but surely my profile is becoming nothing but song lyrics. I can't decide if this is a rut, or if I should just make them all song lyrics and call it art.

In other news my voicemail has lost its goddamn mind.

Heh.. it's not so much the fact that I really like that shirt as the fact that it's one of the four t-shirts I own. I be poor, yo.

So I replaced the stolen tools, nobody terrorized me at work today, I got to wear my galoshes and the sunset was positively Pre-Raphaelite.

It's got a good beat and you can dance to it. I give it a six.

"I just noticed that your profile pic makes you look somewhat like a young Fred Schneider of the B-52s."

Here's the part where you reference the "Monster in my pants that does a naughty dance"

Sheesh Reprobate, I thought you'd be on that like a hobo on a ham sandwich
