Wow...u hit the nail on the head regarding work woes! I was interviewing for a 8-4:30 job from my now crappy 3-11 post...and there were only two of us...I have been there 13 years and worked in that department for 3...well...they chose the other gal who has been there for only 7 months with only 5 years experience as a nurse in general...I got "piped" if you will...very irritating to me! experience and seniority rule everywhere else in the hospital except in this department....the kicker was my meeting after my interview with the "big wigs" and I was told I have a negative attitude and it would be the reason I would be blocked from bidding or leaving....What? U hate me so u will block me to keep me? WTF....whatever is all I say....

our trip to visit Zenfinite was lots of good times! i'll post more about that later. right now, though, i feel like i got hit by a truck... so back to bed i go!

I'm the new UpstateSGNY group owner and i'm popping into people's journals from the upstate area to invite them to join the group!
i'm hoping to get enough new members interested in events to have get togethers and large events (possibly a darien lake day, or something to that effect). so stop by and see what's up... i promise there isn't even any sort of weird initiation (well, unless you want there to be... lol).

Work...well. Work in general sucks...I work for a few man-hating vindictive scorned women who I believe like women only. It really isn't fun. Everytime you turn around you're getting called in on something or asked some strange bizarre questions...they don't hire any extra...they expect all the patients to be happy and I work in a mental health unit...HELLLOOO here...news flash...these people are unhappy and crazy...they don't want to be here...they are tortured souls and we are just trying to ease the pain. Can't make everyone happy so I only worry about taking care of the patients now and who cares what management says...I mind my own and stay to myself and it works well so far! Fingers crossed. I know what you mean about begging for time off...it is like selling your soul!
