Loneliness is not the absence of people. Some of the loneliest times (in my experience) are actually surrounded by people.
I KNOW I am lonely.
But sometimes you have to feel alone inorder to seperate yourself from the people around you ~ who are influencing you ~ so you can begin to figure things out. While I wouldn't encourage anyone to be selfish and self-centered ... when it comes to these difficult times [like your posts imply you are going though of late], the only person you need to consider is YOU.
I pray the hard decisions you face resolve, for you, for the best.
I pray the hard times to follow those decisions - you have the strength to endure.
And I pray that it will conclude swiftly... and in the end you will be better for it. And happy. No regrets.
You have friends and those who care for you. They will help you through the hard times if you let them. But first, the hard decisions ~ you're lonely because until you've made them, you've shut out everyone who is already there gathered around you. It is as I'd expect it to be.
