I've been there with having uninspired holidays and I'm not really a Hallmarkian, which is what I call people who celebrate holidays without the actual belief behind it, but I "got there" to where I am now happy with whatever is being celebrated (I was raised Catholic, but I have my own "belief system", now) and I can usually afford presents or make them (mead, rum balls, chex mix, to name a few). You'll get there, too, I'm sure, @raye. Meanwhile I hope December is kind to you in whatever way you choose to enjoy it. 😉 For me, it would be 1. Anything dragon and/or Maleficent related (and no, not the goody goody recent version, I mean the proper Sleeping Beauty version), 2. H.P. Lovevraft themed gifts, 3. Yeah, same here, I love homemade gifts. They're a true showing of someone's heart. 😊
