Got sick this weekend, ick. Opened up to a girl that I shouldn't have. I should have gone to Michigan, but the mission got scrubbed. After I get better, I'll be working on my part of Read Across America Compton. (I drew CBS shows...) Wish I had signed my re-enlistment already so I can sort of countdown the days until I leave again (after this...

Been bouncing back and forth this past week, between the two jobs (guard and 'Zon).. I saw my friend and her family when I went up to Bellingham. And I hope to see them again when I go back up before heading to Michigan for training.

Going to start prep work this week for the next Read Across America event in Compton. I'm looking for...

Now that Annual Training (AT) is over, I can get back to what feels like my life. I when into the office today, I made it a half-day since my military mind is still running, and I'm finding it hard to step back into the other kind of service (customer service, that is). I had over 400 emails to get through, and while I was...

So today, I'm off early to annual training (AT). Instead of driving five and a half hours to the armory, I get to drive straight to Yakima Training Center. Only an hour, which is way better. Sadly, this means that I'm going to be off the internets for about three weeks. I think that thought is causing withdrawals.

My daughter keeps asking me why I...

Wow, it's been about three weeks since I wrote anything, and I'm not even in Annual Training yet.

It's been just over two weeks since my life got bad. Well, my son made some bad choices and I had to take him home. I'm still angry about it. I would have thought the anger would subside by now, but that's the breaks I guess.

Now...

I got caught up in a week of work, play and stress. I've a stiff learning curve on crafting emails that help customers and I feel that I'm losing my drive to succeed in that regard. Hard to help people with so little information. grr.

I've had the kids for under a week, and it's good so far. Tomorrow will be a good test as...

Wow, it's a week already and somehow I do feel as though a week has past. Guess I've finally been distracted enough to not to have a week drag by. I had started seeing someone, but they hit the brakes after their old flame came back into the picture. I really like her, but I don't want to impede her happiness. grr... It's taken me...

Thankfully, it's over. I've recently finished my army training, the distance education course that had quizzes that related to none of the information presented in the lessons. I got a 75% on the last exam, and I don't care. I have earned a 86% overall, it's done. If I get promoted, there'll be another distance education portion that will feature lots of math--joy.

Now that...

What a hell of a week: started training last Tuesday for the new job and then had to get a tooth extracted Thursday morning before I left for drill weekend... Ick, Four and a half hours driving to B'ham with little sleep and on pain meds, it was fun.

Saw a dear friend on Friday, and just like every time I do, I wish I...

Well, I landed the digital gig and soon will be trained to handle videos and apps! I hope that the training doesn't fully break me. I'm looking forward to training and learning this new job at the 'Zon; I also get to roll back to my wireless support position if I don't make any headway in other positions.

I didn't manage to define the leader...

Thankfully, they're over... I had my interviews today, both within a half-hour of each other. I feel that I did well on both, but better on the digital position versus the leadership one--hard to tell overall, as I just get nervous and start making things up that sound good.

I'm a little jealous of one of my colleges at work getting a phone interview for...
