My two cents ... The first year is a trip but, realize that you are married to another person, another being, totally different than you and yet similar in so many ways and is thinking like you about the first year... The way to success in any marriage and relationship is to have the capacity to compromise - it is that simple... If you can compromise and get to a compromise well the rest is even simpler... It is... I have been married and loved it and also have lived alone for a long extended time and loved that also... no need to compromise there...
