Yeah, Dolphy dying at 36 in Europe is sad, but his collaborator Booker Little dying at 23 is equally horrible. Also, Lee Morgan being shot to death at a club by an ex I believe in the early 70s, and Woody Shaw becoming blind and being hit by a train. All of those make me pretty sad when I think about them. There are too many stories like that.

ugh.. that sucks.. what toxin is it exactly? it could explain a lot i guess.

Fears:
Waking up, and being somewhere I didn't fall asleep.
Being tortured to death.
Breaking something I can't afford to pay for in a store.
Getting in a car accident and killing someone.
Cars, in general.
Spiders, wasps, and anything with more than 4 legs.
living until I am 100.

Some of my fears:

+Eye Doctor appointments (get that machine away from my poor little eye ball, what if i twitch andpuncture my little orb?)
+Any kind of surgery
+Having blood taken/having a substance injected (i don't know, it is really irrational)
+When i am walking around outside at night i have this powerful fear of being raped
+Even though i do want to travel all around, i have a fear of being stuck in a country somewhere in Asia, Africa, or the Middle East where i need something desperately and can't communicate/understand anything. I have had several nightmares of this.
+Graphic details about the effects of parasites (heh) on the human body is one of the only thigs that nearly makes me pass out.
+Childbirth (eeek! eeew! to much stretchy!!!!)
+Driving (never have had a liscence yet)
+Being shot in the gut (what a horrible way to go)

Ah yes, I said that. I think Zerzan is a bit much on the apocalyptic fervor, but overall, I think green/anti-civ anarchists are right about a lot of things (I just wish it weren't so).

that's cool, reminds me of the Wild Roots Collective, who set up a green anarchist "homestead" in North Carolina. They did a road tour recently and spoke here in Santa Cruz, very cool folks and an inspiring project, though they did say "y'all" a bit much.
