I go to Avalon. There are two of them I go to one in North park, but there is Avalon 1 in Pacific Beach which is probably a little closer to OB. I looked around quite a bit, and I think they have some of the best artists around. If you like Japanese art I would go about 15 min. east from Ob to North park to Avalon 2 to my guy Fips (Also the owner). Good luck.
