haha, thanks, and NO SHIT! I spent that money long ago, but the memory is still with me and that's what counts. wink

4 guinness pints used to get me good. But I never drink anymore, so I think I'll just get a 4-pack of pint cans and take it slow. tongue

I've been a Bowie fan forever, but Outside is the one that cemented him as an all-time favorite. I used to have a cassette tape of the Outside tour rehearsals, and was fortunate enough to have seen that show twice (in Pittsburgh and Cleveland, the two closest cities to Trent's hometown)... I've since been fortunate enough to see db again and again, though I'm trying to swear off live shows as mere spectator I'll keep trying to get to his shows as often as he keeps coming around.

How Soon Is Now? (Starfire Mix)

That's the only Smiths remix he's done, it's an unreleased promo-only remix made last year for a label exec.

Happy sexy day.

The beau and Stewfnrocker found at my regular thrift (they did before I found it) a leprechan that was on all fours with a smile on his stupid face and like assholes, they went crazy. We were calling it the "Brokeback Leprachan" and "Submissive Leprechan" and we couldn't stop laughing. It was gone though when we went back for it and Baby said it was prolly like they had to remove it after the scene we all made. You should've seen these 2 assholes, they were like Jefferson and Al Bundy together. kiss kiss kiss kiss kiss

When does my life begin?

I have been growing increasingly more depressed lately, when I look out the window I think that my life is out there, and I cant have it. Then I think of jumping out, because then at least something would happen.

When I am driving I imagine what it would be like to let go of the wheel and keep my...

"And this is the only immorality that you and I may share, my Lolita"

Why is it that middle aged men and 20 something girls have so much in common? I find it bizarre and ironic, to say the least.
After purchasing a Peter Gabriel cd the other day I began to ponder this phenomenon, and I came to the conclusion that the...

I had to write a poem today for a class
So I wrote a crappy poem about Andy Warhol

And arent you lucky?! You get to read it...lol

Andy On 3rd Ave.

I saw a version
Of Andy Warhol,
In the window of Bloomingdales.

He stood with two manikins
Posed among pink plastic daisies
Those awful scars swathed in silkscreen daggers.

His silver hair shining...

Robot induced Depression and Fear!

I was reading Age of Spiritual Machines by Ray Kurzweil last night. There is this timeline beginning with the birth of the universe and ending in 2049, when humans no longer exist as they do know, but are nearly robotic. The things he projects terrified me and depressed me!
I have to read this book for a class im taking...

I loved snowcrash - such a cool technobabble book wink. And Neuromancer too - the book that started a genre!

I really don't think we need to worry about people becoming machines - may be we should worry about the reverse but I don't think that's gonna happen in our lfetimes.

Have fun at the drag show - altho Jason Voorhies in a prom dress seems alittle - eeek ?
chrisisme:
Jason in a promdress....hmmmm, interesting thinking. I hope that you had fun at the drag show on campus. Not much else going on in this wonderful rain we are having. Did your friend have a good time or freak out? eeek
