So I just saw the Evanston Township High School Production of Les Miserables. They had a rotating stage! The lighting was so high tech! I was floored at how much money was spent to put on that show. I don't recall even SEEING any of my high school productions.

I have one of the hightest pain thresholds (really, it rivals my husband's), but I have tried for four hours to get out of bed and when I finally did? I cried like a kid who just dropped her ice cream cone on the floor.

So, I was offered a job at Broadway Costumes... I like the idea of working in a place where I can't be laid off, and I get to be around crazy creative name-your-sexuality-here types. This does not suck. And my job requires concentration and silence, which means no room for spin and politics (fuck yeah!). I like silence more than I ever realized.
