Someone IMed me saying it's hypocritical for me to be against hiring prostitutes and wanting people to be conscious consumers in that area and not,s ay, be a vegitarian, since animals suffer for that. This is where the picking and choosing your batttles thing comes in. You have to choose what's most important to you...you can't care about every person and thing all the time, or you would never be able to do anything. You'd have to drop out of the human race. But no one is saying that you're all scum. We're saying that there are a lot of men out there who ARE scum, there are a lot of scum women out there, too. But we can agree that there are people out there who are horrid and cruel people, no one is characterizing a whole gender. i thought i did really well, but after the papers were handed back the bitchass professor asked to see me and told me that she knew my focus of studies was on public relations and she made me rewrite the paper.
needless to say, we had a personality clash all semester .. which is interesting because my personality clashes with very few people.
