so this could very well be my last SG POST ever!

I generally only write in here when I'm working on Exams and Papers and stuff.. the procrastination helps me fine tune the syntax subconsciously. (hows that for a bullshit justification, eh?) duh, silly. I SAID that while a lot of people are working for equality in the arena of childbearing, it's still a pretty bad time for women. While obviously men can and SHOULD take equal part in taking care of children (or be stay at home dads) it's not all that common. Also I'm not really willing to ask whoever I'm with to give up his or her time so that I can pursue my career, and I'm not willing to give up my own time. So, no kiddies.

went to a discussion Saturday night where Michael Hardt spoke about current trends regarding what he wrote about in Empire.

I was thoroughly impressed. Really sharp, exceedingly down-to-earth, and just seemed like a really cool guy.

hey, thanks for bringing this egypt stuff to my attention, and for not doing it in an insulting manner. it doesn't make sense that th U.S. supports this pharoah character.... but, you're right... the thing i'll need to concentrate on is bringing my fire team back alive. IF i go anywhere. there are a lot of rumors going around as to where we could be going, but you know how the army is.... believe half of what you SEE and none of what you HEAR.

I applied for a job today with the State Dept. Tomorrow I'm applying with the Congressional Policy Research Division and then on Wednesday, I'm sending my resume to the White House.

Wednesday will be funny to me.
