So, I sprained my ankle about as badly as can be. I was playing basketball when I came down on someone's foot, rolled my ankle and practically went into a state of shock. The pain was so excruciating that I almost vommitted. I discovered immediately that I couldn't place even so much as the slightest ammount of weight on the injured ankle and have since...

If you don't live through this obvious insanely painful sprain, can I have all of your cd's?

Write a note to your parents/loved ones to let them know they're mine! thanks, haha

I was the shamed recipient of my 1st speeding ticket yesterday. Considering that I'd been driving aggresively for close to 8 years now and speeding practically everywhere I go, it's probably long overdue. God knows my friends believe me to be a charmed driver. Why is it that everytime I get out of debt I incur some new, unforseen expense? Why is it that after...

I finished 8th in an online poker tournament out of more than 6100 entries. Being a sattelite, i didn't win much but I do have a seat in a tourney with nice payouts now bc of it. Hopefully I do well, place high enough to earn a seat in a serious $ tournament and retire from the real work-world a pro gambler. Isn't that the...

My weekend was absolutely perfect. I saw Bob Saget, played $2/4 in the casino, played some basketball and watched some movies with my friends + caught up on my sleep. Now I'm going to smoke a marijuana cigarette, make some popcorn and watch Capote. Life is sweet.

I just bought tickets to see Bob Sagat. There's something about the fact that, while growing up, this man played the role of wholesome tv dad to me that makes his filthy comedy all the more hilarious; If nothing else, it somehow removes the guilt from such otherwise guilty humor.
I met an incredible girl in a seminar shared by both my class and another...

So John Stewart has apparently began perpetuating his government's propaganda. Yes, i realized he was falling in line with white house rhetoric with regards to Cuba, calling Castro all sorts of things wholly unfounded. However, considering how dichomtoized, ideologically speaking, his country and Cuba are, it struck me as no surprise to see him pandering behind the other american talk-show, pop-culture icons. But when he...

Interesting debate on this topic in the comments of this journal.
Until it devolves into some flamewar about noobs.

I just looked it up after I read this and that's what I found. I haven't seen the speciific show yet.

I wonder, though, as it has happened before if this issue will be addressed on show...

I really don't have enough information to judge it anyway.
I tend to go with the "don't look to Comedy Central for real news." and the "dish it out but can't take it?" view until I actually view the piece.
But then I'm a Cynical New Yorker

Sorry you feel took.
