Buying a CD for someone's birthday is kind of like buying yourself a burnt copy of a cd and getting a free birthday gift. And should let's say, for the sake of it, someone bestows upon you the task of buying a mutual friend of yours a CD-gift for them aswell because they "don't know what he'd like" whatever, it'd technically be like buying a...

I found my old Saul Williams album today while cleaning under my bed. In so much as I had actually concluded that someone had stolen it, it felt great. Mind you, why did I assume someone had taken it? Nothing quite both as humbling and enjoyable as discovering something you'd presumed a casualty of friendship was in fact simply tucked away. biggrin

Someone smoked my car today and totalled my left front end. As to who is going to be at fault, no ideas. I pulled out but he was speeding, not to mention acting blind. He had the passenger and therefore the witness whereas I have no witness and merely commons sense on my side. Why do I think I'm fucked?
cambria:
aww fuckin a that sucks!!

i dont know how someone can do that.
sharona1881:

When I was younger I often thought about what it would be like to kill myself if only for the effect it would have on those in my life. I was never genuine in my desire to inflict guilt upon whomever but was rather just a bitter adolescent wishing for a miraculous means to make others wish they had treated me better or appreciated me...

I just won 32 bucks off my friends at our weekly poker night. Might not seem like much but it's the second most anyone's ever left up (we buy in with $20 and play with 20cent ante). Furthermore, my friend felt the need to discredit my success by claiming it was only my luck that allowed me to prevail. I'd probably be bothered by that too had I not bluffed all night long. Anywho, little else going on so i thought I would document my victory! Hip-hop hooray for me. biggrin
sharona1881:
yay! any victory is meaningful, no mater how small... smile

Finally within sight of the finish. Although, that in and of itself presents another problem. Now I need to figure out what to spend my incoming income on. Too many things I want. For example, I could use a digicam, cell phone, the complete death of cool album, new kicks, something threads to wear to disco night, Dennon double deck, felt hat, etc. (could get...

This is my least favorite week of the entire year. Over the course of the next 7 days most of my good friends, kids I went to highschool with, are packing up, getting on planes and flying to the far corners of my relative world. It's not the fact that they're finishing double majors up, or going to law school and in so advancing their...

Deceived by my own stagnation, to succumb to immediate gratification. Oh perpetual resolution, do save me from my dour desitution.

Whoever said that the road of excess leads to the path of wisdom was just rationalizing. I personally prefer too much of a good thing....

Oh to be one's own bane.

Heya Poke:

Thnks for the comment.
I listed shows that i enjoyed but I no longer pay for cable at home because I do not think it is worth it. And I do believe that it swallows your will to be an independent thinker.

She did not expect performance but looking back I am sad that I was not better being her first time too.

My last night doing drugs and drinking was VERY humbling trust me.

I really like certain foods but to much of them and i could puke.

ARRR!!!
