i don't have any memories that far back myself. germany might be nice to visit, but it's really boring to live here.
London is such a nice change, so many intresting and unusual people and no one makes a big deal out of how you look.
it's like that for me too. might take a while cause i want to be sure it's the right place before i decide, but it will certainly happen. the only thing that worries me is the difficulty of finding a job some place else, but that won't be any easier here so it doesn't really matter and i don't want to stay here forever.
hm... i do that with cooking. don't do it everyday, though, often end up eating crapp all day. ^^
uhuh, it's much better to do something creativ, i'm trying to do that with photography. every once in a while i draw a bit, but i'm too impatient and never satisfied.
it's strange how popularity differs with such things. we usually only get whats popular in the states. it's stupid really... there's so much good stuff like Dead Like Me or Skins (best british series imo) but germany will probably never get to see those.
unlike some other people, i do respond to every comment. there's just not too much to talk about sometimes or people stop talking. ^^

that's not to bad about Hachi, her caring for other people is a very nice thing. i didn't like her naiv, whiny, sluty attitude in the beginning.
Yasu is about the strongest character in the series and i'm hoping to get like that too. i can find a lot of my past in the other characters struggles, but i don't want to be like that anymore.
yeah, i've become very reluctant to new anime, many of them are a waste of time. like you said, it's always the same, over and over, no originality. try Texnolyze it's good.

i'm not into remakes as well. there are very good ones, but many of them aren't necessary and not good at all.
good ones: The Thing, Halloween, Red Dragon, King Kong.

you liked My Bloody Valentine?? the original was kind of boring as i remember it and the remake was so annoying, i stopped half way through.

maybe that's also a bit why i didn't like ParaKiss as much as Nana, couldn't relate to the characters as much.
ah yeah, the old prejudices... they used to bash anime (and the fans) because of the hentai stuff, but the german scene has done a good job at pretending there's no such thing as violent porn, that generall people think anime is kids stuff only. i don't even care about those opinions, but i hate what has become of the german scene. it used to be very cool and underground enough so that the main magazine did reports on hentai all the time, it was accepted as a part of the overall scene. now everything is mainstream and that same magazine is about 60% advertising and the talk about the same kids series over and over again. there's hardly anything worth picking up here anymore.
the 3D thing surely must have been good! the Friday 13th remake was ok imo, characters were all annoying assholes, but it was watchable. ^^

I think I sorted it out, the love thing that is. Once you forget about having someone to love YOU and start loving everyone else equally, it'll be just a matter of time to get someone that feels the same about you. It's not about being happy and wanting someone just to become 'better' or feel better or look better (in my case, I only date hot girls and most of the time just to look cool, heh) it's about being better for the others. I've always wanted to be better for those I love (parents, friends), I want them to feel proud of me and if I ever love a girl, I'd try to be perfect for her, I'd be just awesome.
