Well, we've been working on a coupla things. A Santa Cruz Free Skool and a local independent community Radio station in Felton.

Also, we had an Adventure Club that was great. Trainhopping on a sunny winter day up the coast. Wanna go next time?

they are more broad comedy and less dark - but still fucked up. dorsey is the more violent of the two (start with Florida Roadkill) and hiaasen is more mainstream (he wrote Striptease)...

thanks for firing me that email. I love those GS's. I almost bought one two years ago, but am glad i didn't. As far as getting a different bike for South America, I really want to do it on my 929 or my 600rr. Kinda stupid i know, but the idea of riding down there at all is kinda stupid. I just want to prove it can be done on a hard core sportbike. We'll see what happens.

My plans might be moved up a bit though. There's been some developments with my travel partners that i'm not too psyched on. I'm considering just getting on my bike and riding south until i run out of money and can hopefully sell the thing for enough to get back. I don't freaking know, i'm just a bit pissed at new developments and am grasping at alternate ideas...

Wow! You and the boy sound like great people indeed! So many folks take that path of least resistance, do all the things they think their supposed to do and live that mediocre life. I get giddy stoked when i meet other people that drop security to look for meaning. It is indescribable how things just work out, and work out great when you start following those dreams and ignoring your fears. I'm crazy stoked for you guys!!!

Sailing around the world! ballsy shit! I have this 5 year dream of riding a bike to the tip of south america. That's a little bit of what's driving this next trip for me.

Second week in January i'm landing in lima peru, surfing, skating, paragliding (travel companions are world class paragliders, and i'm in for a crash course, yikes!) and just following my feet. Chile, Argentina, and Bolivia are on the books too. I'll be down there for three months, so i'm definitely really excited!

I have no idea what i'm going to do when i get back to the states. no home, no money. no job, but I don't even fucking care! Everything will work out absolutely perfectly!

I'm sending you an email, so hit me back there so i can plug you into my address book.. I fire off email updates to my friends around the country, and your one of the rare greats i think.
