Tomorrow we get the keys to our new house, but I guess we aren't getting the uhaul til Thursday. I just found that out and I have already called the electric company to turn off the lights tomorrow. I will have to find a way to get some of my stuff there tomorrow.

You might try "A New Kind of Science" by Stephen Wolfram
Stephen gives very interesting talks about his work, but the actual book is really dry, it even hurt my dad's brain, and he works with neural networks, and that kind of thing
Of course Mr.Wolfram writes about real stuff, but if you really enjoy Asimov, Stephen shouldn't be too much for you and understanding his stuff could lead to big time jobs and world domination and that kind of thing
If you're interested just add it to your wish list and i'll buy it for you, er next month- i'm taped out for now
ps Isaac's books about Geology are much easier to read than his robot books
pps the two main premises of A New Kind of Science are
A. Using computers for what they're really good at aka doing lots of calculation over and over, and providing visual mythology for mathematical problems
B. Simple programs can provide complex output, aka mountain ranges, cloud formations, the wide diversity of life

And sorry about the Ex thing! It is hard to stay friends with exes, though i have tried. Sometimes you just have to dissapear from them completely for a year or two before anything will work. And sometimes even then it is still weird.
Have an awesome trip to Paris! I envy you! If you like his work you should go to the Salvador Dali museum. I didn't get a chance to go while i was in Paris....basically just there waiting for a flight out of france. That was the only info about the museum i could find with an address.

I don't know why but for some reason i am reminded of The Big Fun which is a website i stumbled upon years ago....doesn't really have anything to do with this thread other than it centers around a big house with a bunch of kids living in it.
