Moving back in is not too difficult. My parents realize that I live nine months without them, making all decisions necessary for my survival, then move back in with them for three months. They strive to respect my privacy, though they admit it is hard sometimes. It's good overall. smile Thanks for asking. I have started childsitting/ pays well/ shorter hours than I expected/ decent work. Hope you did accomplish some work. biggrin
ryan:
finally i do feel better... yes.. thank you!

About anything

steffy62398081:
Not caring is such a hollow feeling. And cold. Like having a vacuum for a heart. I hope you feel better soon!
peggy:
You still don't seem to be fine. frown

Woah, for a guy who normally is run by cold, efficient logic, I sure have been emo the last few days.

*shrug*

Plodding along, getting things in order. I still need to find my ticket (got pulled over for expired inspection/registration) or I am going to miss my court date and have fun warrants out for me. I procrastinate badly.

Do you name your genitalia?...

I had a decent weekend. I went to my gaming tournament on Saturday, and ended up coming in 3rd overall. It wasnt too bad, but I had gotten way too wrapped up in winning. I don't like to be like that.

I am ultra-competitve, and I often have to keep myself in check when playing any sort of even quasi-competitve game. Personality flaw I suppose....

Luke Walton should turn out to be a great player. My flaw is my inability to find a woman who doesnt want to change me.

Go lakers, sorry I couldnt help myself. smile

I usually don't plan on shopping for underwear. It's generally an impulsive buy. But this weekend I've a friend visiting and I'd like to go to a new shop. I love the Monkees! I like Last Train to Clarksville best.

I love benadryl so much I want to marry it.

So the weekend was pretty uneventful. I had an awful fever Friday night, so I turned in without much of a fight.

Saturday it rained something fierce here in Houston. I went with my roommate to his wargaming match. He had to play against the top dog here, and lost. It was a close match...

Heya, I hope you are well and that you had a nice weekend. I got into a serious Atari discussion this weekend at a friend's cookout. Turned out that we had a lot of the same games and loved Space Invaders.

To infinity and beyond!

I am going to try to depart from my usual "witty" one-liner journal entries, and actually put a little of me "out there" so to speak. In order to do this, you must suffer through the banality of my life tongue

I am a software programmer that currently works for a manufacturing company. Over the time that I have been there (its...

All lives have deadening banality; all have mind shattering excitement. They only take different forms and show themselves at different times. (I think I've more of the former. smile )

I take off one day each month to rest and to do whatever floats into mind. One day isn't enough to interrupt my work, but it is enough to prepare me for more. I learned an interesting relaxation technique last month: try to clear you mind of conscious thought and count your breaths up to ten. If thoughts slip in and you find yourself thinking of something, start again. It will take several tries, but by ten I feel much calmer. Have a restful weekend.

You ever feel so weighted down by obligation, that you just want to weep?

What do you do if you do not/cannot cry?
steffy62398081:
Write it out. Rip up paper. Listen to sad music (Bright Eyes, American Football). Wish you the best with that.

Steph
steffy62398081:
Thanks for the insight. I'll be glad to talk if you need to.

Life is awfully zany and unpredictable. It is no wonder that I do not plan farther ahead in life than about two weeks.
