Well it actually only costs $1.50 to send a postcard anywhere from New Zealand, which is great since the first friend i'm sending one of the dresden doll postcards to also lives in the U.S so dont go worrying about the price.

Hey, I just read about this in my local paper and I thought you might find it interesting. The Brattleboro (Vermont) Museum and Art Center held an event called the 24 Hour Comic Book Challenge. The deal was, you had to write, draw, ink, letter and proofread a 24 page comic in 24 consecutive hours.
The Museum stayed open all night providing coffee and support to the would-be artists. The article was written before the event, so I don't know how it turned out, but I bet it would be interesting to read the comics produced during such a gig.

Dude! The last time I went and she actually dyed the whole thing (the purple incident that turned out brown), it was over $150. RIDICULOUS, I tell you. But I figured because that was bleaching out strands for highlights and two kinds of color, and she made it sound like it was corrective, even though the other lady who did it made better use of the purples. I just can't afford her services anymore, and I like it better to do it myself. Besides, it is fun to dye your own hair, and fun to trim it in the mirror. It's like a tame adrenaline sport.
