its funny, after recently seeing what staff look for in regards to comments on sets, i have been so analytical towards them. positive feedback of course. but in a way, its subconsciously leaving a mark for what i should look for when making films and when i finally start doing portraits myself.

There is one thing I'm bummed about the new site, its made it even harder to search for people from specific countries. the search system was flawed on the last site so i was hoping that it would be fixed here but they pretty much removed it.

yeah, i've read that.  there was a shooter at my event this weekend with one and a zeiss 85 - man, he was hangin' way back to get his shot with the crop factor!  But, lord - did it look good in the monitor.

@tmronin oh god yeah. i can't remember for the life of me what  was using there. it was either a 35mm or 50mm. i know i had to really stand far back to get wide shots coz the director wouldn't just let me change the lens. was so pissed off as well as having aperture issues. i need to get it back out and play with it again.

@exkyu I'm finding that its just all trial and error… will be confusing for the first week then will be easy to navigate. but it certainly is far more confusing than its predecessor.

I think if you'd never used either site, then you wouldn't find this one any more confusing than the old one. Possibly less so. The old site was very non-intuitive really. We all just got used to it. The number of noobs who were completely lost is testament to that.

Wow. Sweet little handheld rig. I really want to try out the Black Magic as a 2nd camera. Shooting RAW is fucking awesome and absolutely worth the extra effort it takes to post. I've been shooting on RED at 4K since December and I'd never go back to HD. smile
