I spent mine in a sweltering kitchen for 11 hours, and my resolution is to take the night off next year.
I don't recall crying once in 2004, and vomiting only once. I'd see a year without either as pure success. Although when either of those things DO happen, it always seems to be out of my control, anyway. Maybe a fair resolution would be to reconstruct a lifestyle devoid of whining and puking, or at least giving an honest effort as such.
My ultimate goal is to throw my alarm clock in the trash forever, so maybe I'll try harder on that this year.

Bland Crapids. Once you've seen the rest of the world, you realise how self-important all of West Michigan is. Religious doesn't begin to describe it. Try right-wing, republican, conservative, Dutch-run, etc. The "dislocated Dutch" are an evil bunch. After all, they started apartheid. No thanks. No clubs, no good bands (that get any gigs around here), no good restaurants, no good museums = no fucking cluture whatsoever. They try, but they fail. And culture is exactly what I want in a city in which I live. Therefore, I'm moving!
