I've got a Nikon Coolpix 950. It's pretty good camera. The main problem with it is that it doesn't use a lithium battery, so it loves batteries like a sailor loves his rum. It takes surprisingly good pictures is average-to-moderate light; in low-to-dark light there's usually noticable artifice in the images; in bright light the images seem a bit washed out (a filter might solve that, but I've never tried). It's a good camera, but it doesn't quite allow me to do everything I want to do with it. Though I understand that Nikon makes some nice digital SLR cameras.
