I've found that CFL bulbs usually do last longer, though whether that and their lower energy use justify their higher price is an open question. They do generate heat - the bulb itself isn't quite as hot as an incandescent bulb, but the base of the CFL does get as hot - and I can definitely do without the mercury! When they first came on the market, I didn't use them for long, because the first one that burned out literally burned out.

As for Tubby the words "finally" come to mind. He coached at a rival school but I never disliked him like Coack K (when not winning Gold for the USA) so I was over the moon when try hired him to brings hoops back here.
He's been underachieving for years now and this year, while they are pulling your standard Minnesota sports tank job they will be in the tournament and try could be a spoiler.
They are just pretty bi polar. They haven't gotten to the point where you beat all the teams you are supposed to.
