Back in DC.
For the worst day I have ever had.
I have had bad days before. A 30 second sexual fantasy usually does the trick, and then I am all right. Oddly, when it is about Vi, she is always wearing her engagement ring. She is off the market in June.
The coin of the realm is not money. It is not power. It...

I have not been here in a while. It has nothing to do with SG. I am in Texas, taking care of the house while my family is in Cabo.
I can get all the news I need from here. I can connect with Vi, Kristina, and Ngok from here. We have our own little chat room set up. It is just not as efficient...

Well that's good at least.
Ah, Dallas and Houston, I assume I flew over it many times since those were spots I would tend to fly between or in and out of on trips to Amarillo or New Mexico.
I've never had a radar detector, it would be nice sometimes I admit, but with the 2nd highest gas prices in the nation right now (second to fucking Hawai'i) I don't know if I want to get my truck up that high and waste that precious resource.
Funny you mention beef jerky. The best beef jerky and pulled beef/pulled pork/pulled chicken sandwiches I've ever had was in a little shack, in the middle of fucking nowhere New Mexico. My Step-Grandfather and I would go on epic road trips (sometimes with my Grandma too, but the really long ones were usually just the two of us).
Me listening to my discman as the desert rolled by (yeah, in the era before Mp3s) or listening to his old war stories, life lessons and history of the state.
I can't remember where we were, I'd have to ask him, he may not even remember, but we pulled off onto the road and this little shack probably with no one around it for over 100 miles, maybe more and this woman there came out, and there was a small table, and maybe a stool or two in what seemed like an oversized two person outhouse at the time.
That shit was so fucking good I still remember it to this day. We brought some jerky home for my Grandma as well, and for me for the rest of the trip. I think that's one of my favorite "food" memories of all time and one that will never again be replicated, or even found.
I remember my actual grandfather lamenting the food industry when I was a kid, and when I look back now there is nothing that beats that naturally raised stuff.
Ah, the range does. Minnesota has the most in the country (along with other parts of the upper midwest), I mean more my age demographic.
Where my family is from in the "Queen City" of the North or the Original Quad Cities (to my knowledge...at least before the Iowa ones maybe some other state has a quad cities claim) you are usually elderly, or somehow in high school or playing junior college ball for like a year. There isn't really a scene for much up there, especially during the winters as most of the well known attractions close down and everyone just plays hockey or stays inside.
Scaring people is what I do...unintentionally of course.
I think the Te'o bit was more of a smokescreen with what they ended up doing. The most politically incorrect team that resides in our nations capital should thank Vikings fans for the 1987 NFC Title game.

Hey, I have no idea what the "reset" is, but I hope everything's OK. If you want to talk or something you can always PM me. Long-term relationships have so much of an affect on who we are as people simply by being such a giant part of our lives for so long, so big changes can be super scary.
Cinco de Mayo!
Why do we celebrate this day, while the Mexicans do not?
That is not exactly true. It is celebrated in Puebla, where the battle was fought. El Dia de la Batalla de Puebla. 4,500 poorly equipped Mexican soldiers fought 8,000 French regulars in 1862. The Mexican army, under General Ignacio Zaragoza Seguin, trounced the French, who had the best army in the...

My bad, I thought I did clarify that his announcement was directed at the American society, not worldly. While boxing is a major sport, it's not a team effort where the gay athlete will share a locker room with his teammates, some who might be opposed to his preference. Even with rugby, that sport seems to elude my knowledge of its existence on a professional level in the States where it qualifies as one of the top four sports. And I'm definitely not defending his career, or that he may not have an agenda, as I personally think its irrelevant since I know know what's going on in his head, I'm simply pointing out that, from American standards, this is a relatively dynamic event taking place because the NBA in particular has never dealt with this type of issue.
I wish everyone could say it's no big deal and wave it off, but considering the amount of backlash Collins has received, amidst the support, it's very much a big deal. It's not about why people shouldn't care; it's about showing those who are against same sex why they should care.

So a basketball player by the name of Jason Collins came out as a homosexual today,
Other that, Collins is an utterly unremarkable player. For six teams and and twelve years, he was worth less than four points a game and four rebounds a game. In fact, this was proabaly going to be his last year; you do not stick around that long with those...

I agree I was like what is he risking he sucks and his career is over if you call what he had a career...he is a liar if you ask me to his fiance and his family..if he had any fans why would they care what he does behind closed doors. I am only to assume he is shooting for a career in broadcasting considering all the interviews he is doing. Wtf. If he wants kudos tell me you are actually a woman now that would explain his basketball skills or lack there of!
Mind u JMO ( just my opinion) which don't mean shite!

Aisha is going to break up with me. I am certain of it.
We have been together since 2001.
I know she has spoken with Courtney and Megan about it, this "change" in our relationship she has promised to tell me about soon. While neither will tell me about it, they do not seem happy. After all, for years they have had me with them,...

4/20!
Yesterday was April 20, the day dedicated to smoking marijuana. I hope if this is something that you enjoy, you had your fill. It is not something I do, but I certainly do mind. As long as you are all right that I am primarily carnivorous. Besides,I also smoke illegal imported things. My choice is a Monte Cristo #2 Habana.
If you wish, we...

AISHA IS HOME!
WOOT! WOOT!
She walked in about two hours ago. Her nose crinkled; I was cooking the fried chicken I had hoped to be making last night, in celebration of her return. I had to cook it tonight, after it had soaked in brine and had marinated it in a combination of buttermilk and hot sauce.

I really hate Aisha's job.
Still no word from her.

"Close the door, put out the light
No, she won't be home tonight."
I am counting on tomorrow night. I will make fried chicken if she comes home.

For obvious reasons, Aisha got a message telling her to get back to DC right now.
We managed to get on a plane about an hour and a half ago. It will be 7:30 when the plane is supposed to land. Figure 8:30 to get home. I will be done for the day, relaxing from the trip and the week's debaucheries. Aisha will go to...

I didn't find out till much later. Just glad that was the case, because if it was earlier, that means someone in my family was effected, with about 95% of the living part of it being out there at the moment.
Mandatory dinner and night with the parentals. Not a problem, we get along very well. The problem is Aisha. Mom dislikes her, and refers to Aisha as "that woman." Dad is not fond of her as well, but accepts that she is part of my life, but he does want me to marry her. Mom disagrees, and wants me to marry "that nice Megan girl."...

Fair play. The only racing I've ever gotten into was WRC, and this year I'm giving F1 a go and I really enjoy the races and coverage. It reminds me quite a bit of WRC, which we unfortunately don't get here live anymore in a lot of aspects.
Nascar due to its "culture" and races I've just never really enjoyed. I'd go to a race if invited to check it out, but otherwise couldn't care less.
A lot of it for me is dealing with depression and anxiety, I figured "getting back in the game" so to speak would give me the OPPOSITE problem, but it didn't.
The rest is in a pm that shall be sent shortly....

He was right. I've never had that type of jerky, do they still make it? Here I stick to Jacks Links.
