To save the world or to have my freedom. Whats the choice?

Are you really saving the world?
purpleswirl:
Save yourself. Then you can find more ways to save the world. But I still appreciate what you do. It's a hard call, hopefully something inside you or outside of you [whatever you believe] will help you with your choice.

the trick with giving up the foamy stuff is to find a substitute. it just makes it a lot easier if you can drink something in its place. not soda though, that just defeats the purpose.

I need to start running again and hitting hills and inclines in my runs. I have to go to Virginia in July for my Sergeant's course and I know they are gonna run the hell outta us.

you know, I stopped drinking alcohol altogether no problem. (well, one hiccup) soda and coffee long before that. soda is actually what will really help you lose weight. it has so much sugar, and carbonation is really hard on your digestive system (although I guess beer has a similar effect).

i drink a lot soy milk, a good amount of juice, and a ton of water. I also probably have about one gatorade a day. I actually get the majority of my caloric intake from liquid, which a lot of nutritionists warn against, but I don't eat a whole lot. plus, I like my tummy. blush

You konw...I really should get a letter to you in the post! blush

Well I met a gorgeous nap named SueEllen(I guess it was a southern girl tongue ) today. She carresed me softly and sweetly for about 2 hours. I feel somewhat better now.

On the other hand, I really have been enjoying myself lately. I've been getting out quite a lot. North Carolina isn't that bad once you get out and about. The only complaint that I...

ps vasodialation is the expansion of blood vessels...any of them, doesnt just have to be near the surface of the skin (happens in the brain during migraines and traumatic brain injury, happens to the penis during arousal, etc)...vasoconstriction is the tightening of blood vessels... so during the fight/flight response, when adrenaline and cortisol are released into the body in mass quantities - blood is shunted from the extremeties and minor organs into major organs and musculature...and its shunted via vasoconstirction.

k...nerdy moment of biomed nerd ness is...done. wehehehehe

it goes away. it took me about 5 or 6 months, but I went back to being able to sleep 7 or 8 hours (!) at a time eventually.
